Get to Know the Role
We are looking for an "Assistant Manager, Marketing" to join our team in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Reporting to the Head of Marketing in Cambodia, you will lead the Country Marketing team and Creative team in designing and directing communications deliverables, including partnerships, ATL/BTL advertisements, marketing creative campaigns, activation ideas, customer experience design, and end-to-end processes of consumer-first promotions.
You will also collaborate with multiple business and operations leads to identify growth opportunities.
This is a fully on-site role based in our Cambodia office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Create marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with the business strategy.
- Assess trends in demand and supply to inform marketing strategies and provide recommendations.
- Manage a team of marketing professionals, ensuring a collaborative culture.
- Create marketing briefs, collaborate to develop innovative campaign ideas, and track campaign performance across multiple channels.
- Present marketing reports and plans to senior management, communicating insights and strategies.
- Work with teams across Mobility, Deliveries, Operations, and Customer Experience to ensure the efficient execution of marketing campaigns.
- Organize in-person and digital events, coordinate with vendors for marketing materials, and analyze campaign effectiveness to improve future efforts.
- Plan and oversee consumer in-app communications, promotions and rewards using Grab's internal tools and systems, in collaboration with the Marketplace team.
- Plan and oversee house ads/paid ads inside of the Grab app with the regional GrabAds team.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor degree preferably with a focus on Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations and/or Business Administration.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record in developing integrated marketing strategies and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of Cambodian market trends and consumer behavior.
- Strong oral and written skills in both English and Khmer local language.
- Working knowledge of reporting software and office/presentation tools (Google Slides, Excel & Google Sheets, Word).
