Job Description
As a 3PL Business Expert (Allocation), you are part of driving the overall Distribution Centre result, focusing on incoming stocks planning, allocation to store execution planning, value added services, garments quality check & follow thru, Non-Commercial Goods (NCG) Operations and the dependencies to other logistics- and business areas.
Support the Distribution Centre operations, embracing the H&M values, policies, and all relevant procedures, and collaborate with the DC (Distribution Centre) Manager and all teams.
Maximize operational excellence, quality, and efficiency in a sustainable way for our customers, in all brands and channels.
Key responsibilities:
- Accountable for inbound warehouse operations, value added activities, proper garment care, NCG Operations and logistics arrangement to achieve overall organizational goals and objectives.
- Expected to collaborate with relevant departments in ensuring incoming stocks are accounted for, allocation to store are properly executed following the required dates that new garments should be in the store.
- Ensure that end-to-end NCG Operations requirements are being met.
- Must be able to lead the warehouse team to deliver an efficient service to other department colleagues and excellent services meeting external customer expectations.
- Develop and continuously improve on design, implementation and enforcement of an effective warehouse management system covering incoming, allocation to store and value-added services & NCG operations.
- Establish and periodically review the team achievement on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) relating to warehouse.
- Maximizes profitability through plans, budget and cost follow up.
- Ensure excellent quality of garment care and routines in the logistic chain through commercial placement.
- Inform and communicate with DC Team about on-going activities, spot check results, quality check, hanging and steaming decisions, and errors reporting.
- Inform and communicate with Global packing and local packing responsible.
- Follow up on audits (DC & Store) and ensure best practices and administrative routines are followed.
- Ensure good inventory levels of NCG within the warehouse to cater effectively to both DC & Store needs.
- Establish teamwork and good rapport with 3PLs and colleagues, including those from other departments.
- Act in line with our values and be a role model to contribute to H&M’s business success.
- Any other projects or ad-hoc assignments as assigned by direct supervisor or any senior management team member at H&M
Qualifications
- Ability to prioritize and organize own work to handle several tasks at the same time.
- Good attention to details.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Assertive and able to remain claim and controlled in stressful times.
- Confident to approach and talk to various department including head of departments.
- Able to respond to urgent needs on weekend and public holidays.
- Self-motivated, analytical, and good at implementing strategies to complement other departments and guiding your team and suppliers towards sales maximization.
- A problem solver and decision maker, good at prioritizing and organizing your work and the work of others efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong and effective communicator; multi-tasking is second nature to you in the course of working with co-workers of all levels, both within and outside H&M.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position within Logistic Region Asia and Pacific. You will become a part of the Logistics Philippines team and report directly to DC MANAGER.
