Job Description

About the Role

As a 3PL DC Manager, you are responsible for collaborating with 3PLS for efficient day to day DC operations.  You will ensure compliance and lead and support continuous improvements in line with set targets, efficiency and cost.

A Day in the Life

  • Strategically plan and monitor performance of 3PL operations with regards to efficiency, service, cost & sustainability
  • Manage the 3PL-DC H&M team
  • Closely collaborate with Regional Logistics Sales & Operations to serve day-to-day requests from Sales and align 3PL DC operations with forecasted quantity and service needs
  • Collaborate with 3PL to proactively identify improvement opportunities to enhance performance
  • Identify and resolve risks and issues in 3PL DC performance
  • Manage continuous communication flow with 3PL on day-to-day activities as well as specific requirements
  • Set, facilitate & follow up goals accord. to H&M standards
  • Ensure high quality and in-time sustainability reporting
  • Improve sustainability standards & strive to minimize Co2 emission
  • Be updated on, and follow, local laws and regulations
  • Ensure employee safety, well-being and commitment to H&M group’s approach to Human Rights in alignment with 3PL partner
  • Ensure professional handling of health, safety, legal- or security issue in alignment with the 3PL partner

Additional Accountabilities:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Omni Logistics operations, experience working with a third-party provider a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to adapt to company specific systems
  • Negotiation skills and budgetary responsibility.

Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • Deep expertise in running DC operations in collaboration with 3PLs
  • Good understanding of most relevant sales and online functions
  • Strong communication & coordination skills
  • Excellent understanding of DC operations, specifics, and capabilities of each DC / 3PL
  • Good knowledge of global standards of operating procedures, security and sustainability
  • Holistic view to look at the bigger perspective with a visionary approach
  • Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation and people development by empowering others
  • Agile mindset with a positive attitude to change and meaningful growth
  • Inclusive & empathetic towards others whilst encourage. diversity
  • Self awareness, understanding your impact on others and contribution to the whole group
  • Fluency in English and local language required.

Compensation: salary range is $112,811 - $126,912 annually**
