Inventory Optimization Lead - Temporary role

Job Description
As an Inventory Optimization Lead you will be a key contributor to our merchandising unit, focused on achieving the optimal balance between inventory levels and customer demand between markets, warehouses and selling channels.
You will play a critical role in ensuring product availability, reducing carrying costs, and maximizing operational efficiency. You will drive efficient regional demand fulfilment, spurring sales growth. This is 1-year contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute strategy, way of working and accountable for execution of initial allocation parameters to be correctly set at all times
- Follow up inventory targets for warehouse and store segments and support with actionable direction
- Set delivery schedules to store with logistics counterpart
- Follow-up replenishment and push strategy and settings per store segments
- Monitor and improve stock accuracy in stores by supporting RFID routines
- Monitor and execute system-set up to enable stocking and storage management in collaboration with Demand & supply unit, Merchandise managers and Logistics.
- Set external exit strategy for inventory together with global counterparts
- Optimize supply to minimize constraints and drivers impacting sales in line with inventory optimization strategy set by the Inventory optimization manager
- Follow up execution of framework for prioritization of articles for allocation to secure commerciality in stores
- Support the capacity planning for store inbound/outbound to support store planning
Qualifications
To be successful in the role as Inventory Optimization Lead you are customer and sales-driven professional with a strategic mindset. You are a detail-oriented professional with expertise in inventory management, data analysis, and with a strong supply chain understanding. You thrive working in a fast pace, in and agile environment. You are natural team player that strives to foster collaboration across channels, roles and functions.
What you need to succeed:
- Previous experience in of inventory optimization or merchandising.
- Previous experience of stock management strategies and practices
- Experience of logistics, allocation, store operation and/or online sales
- High level of analytical skills and salesmanship
- Advanced Excel user
- Programming skills meriting
- Structured way of working
- Collaborative personality and good communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
Additional Information
This is a full-time position with local 1-year contract, located in Warsaw, Poland. The Inventory Optimization Lead is part of the Merchandising Department and reports to Inventory and Optimization Manager.
