Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administrate local import and export processes for commercial and NCG, incl. Port to DC, cross-country DC moves, and cross-border shipments (both store and online)
- Administrate efficient handling of customs formalities in cross-region trades
- Timely prepare and administrate entries for customs clearance and support compliance with global rules, standards and regulations set by Global Trade & Customs
- Support opportunities to optimize regional customs
and tax in line with local regulations and aligned with
Global Trade & Customs department and strategies - Communicate with customs and other regulators on a day-to-day operational basis
- Support in international transport matters (e.g. shipment tracing/monitoring, freight invoice reviewing etc.)
- Support initiatives/ projects with expertise
- Collaborate with Tax and Accounting, as needed, to ensure compliance with country requirements
COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge of import and export processes in country across all types of cross-border flows
- Understanding of global Trade & Customs rules and regulations
- Overview on relevant market environment and cross-border trade relationships
- Knowledge of international forwarding
- Fluent in English and local language
- Good knowledge of common IT applications. SAP knowledge is a plus
- Coordination skills and “can do” attitude to effectively resolve day-to-day issues and drive smooth process support and admin.

Qualifications
MINIMUM CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires a minimum of a high school diploma, preferably a college diploma focused in Customs & International Trade
- CCS Certification preferred (Certified Customs Specialist)
- 2 - 4 years Imports/Exports experience or relevant logistics experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of shipping documents, broker invoices and freight invoices
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel in particular) and the ability to adapt to company specific systems
- Detail oriented, with strong organizational, analytical, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong in communicating and adapting methods based on circumstance
- Good knowledge of global standards of operating procedures, security, and sustainability
