The global Finance and Accounting (F&A) function is responsible for the financial consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards. We collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. The Financial Consolidation & Control, part of F&A departments main responsibility is to interpret and apply IFRS guidelines to financial statements and to identify and implement process improvements to enhance our financial reporting and analysis.

Job Description

The job of an Financial Controller within our department comes with lots of responsibility – and lots of fun. Your to do-list includes:

  • Work with and ensure quality within our entire process connected to the financial reporting, by involving work related to FP&A, financial consolidation and our external reports.
  • Participate in initiatives that affects the financial reporting and improve our way of working from a group accounting perspective.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a sales-minded, social, open, communicative and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. Your personal qualities also include:

  • Degree within Business Administration & Economics (or similar)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience from a similar role
  • Experience from working within an auditing firm is a great advantage
  • A genuine interest in working with financial reporting
  • Fluent English skills, both in speech and writing
  • Strong ability to plan, execute and prioritize
  • You are skilled within communication and like to involve yourself in discussions with people from different functions and markets within the company.
  • Good MS office and power BI skills
  • Strong analytical skills
