Job Description
As a Product Technologist you are responsible for educating and developing our suppliers in product quality, fit and technical risk assessment on our products.
esponsibilities :-
- Working on site with suppliers you are responsible for educating and developing our suppliers towards self-reliance in the product flow in connection to your assortment needs.
- Working closing with the necessary stakeholders your role is to ensure we deliver the best product aligned with our business idea.
- You play a key role in contributing towards securing best product from a customer perspective. Working with the global/regional teams you are responsible for co executing the market development plans and supplier / product strategy on your product categories.
- Working with our suppliers and hand in hand with other relevant internal stakeholders you are responsible for driving/developing product development and production capability within quality, fit and consumption optimization.
Skill Set Required:
- Ability to transform design sketches or artwork into actual products.
- Expertise in creating and modifying patterns, with a specialization in various fits for womenswear, as well as menswear and kids wear.
- Measurement Grading: Proficiency in grading measurements for different age groups and size groups to ensure accurate sizing.
- Product Specification Sheets: Capability to create detailed product specification sheets that guide the manufacturing process.
- Knowledge of Woven and Knits: Understanding of both woven and knit fabrics and their respective properties and uses.
Qualifications
Experience with CAD Software: Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software for pattern making and grading.
Quality Control Skills: Ability to assess and ensure the quality of the final product.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.
