Job Description
- Certified to drive basic machinery within the H&M portfolio
- Ensure an efficient and effective product flow by following our operational routines in your everyday work which includes but is not limited to;
- Unloading and sorting garments arriving daily by truck or container
- Shipping garments and products to our customers
- Process returns ensuring the correct refund is issued to our customers
- Stay informed about current campaigns and activities to maximize sales opportunities
- Keep yourself updated and working with ongoing Sustainability initiatives
- Keep your DC environment clean & organize to support operation excellence
- Work in accordance with H&M standards and local legislation with Health and Safety and Security routines to guarantee your personal safety as well as the safety of your colleagues
Qualifications
- Certified or previously certified to operate an Order Picker (Cherry Picker) and/or Reach Truck, actively driving for 1 year+
- Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull, carry items.
- Ability to climb a ladder and use of step stool which will involve heights
- May be required to pull/push manual jack – 10 to 50 lbs.
- If required, ability to operate electric pallet jack and/or high low machinery
- If required, ability to operate a scanning gun
- If required, ability to operate strapping machine
- Effective management of time with ability to prioritize
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative in completing tasks and solve problems
