Job Description

The Technical Delivery Lead will oversee the coordination, quality assurance, and optimization of technical developments for a software product. Serving as the crucial link between business experts, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, the Technical Delivery Lead will ensure that technical initiatives are aligned with the product roadmap and drive measurable business value. This role requires the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. The Technical Delivery Lead will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to guarantee smooth delivery and execution of IT and application projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives before, during and after technical releases.
 

The Technical delivery lead will be part of the Emerging tech team.

Project Delivery & Release Management: Lead the end-to-end management of software product delivery, ensuring timely execution, alignment with business goals, and effective release & testing processes. Responsible for coordinating of necessary E2E test, Acceptance test and integrations across products and value streams where needed
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions, while managing expectations and maintaining strong relationships. Responsible for synchronizing roadmaps and goals with countries to ensure strong operational and organizational readiness within markets when rolling-out new and change of existing products
Technical & Business Understanding: Leverage a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, application development processes, and business operations to align technical initiatives with business needs.
Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements in technical processes and practices, ensuring optimal performance and scalability of the product.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution:
Proactively identify and mitigate risks and roadblocks to ensure the smooth execution of projects, escalating issues when necessary. 

Qualifications

  • Experience working with Agile & ITIL Frameworks – Experience working within Agile methodologies and ITIL practices for efficient service transition and operations, such as in Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
  • Experience from working with product development and the full product development cycle including requirement setting, sprints, QA testing and Production releases
  • Ability to quality assure larger releases in an efficient way (incl test/acceptance routines)
  • Retail or eCommerce Experience – Background in retail or eCommerce IT projects, particularly in omnichannel or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Change Management & Training – Ability to drive change, create training materials, and support teams in adopting new solutions effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure processes are running smoothly and in line with common goals
  • Understand global strategies and making them relevant in a local context
