For our successful, international Management Team we are looking for a Commercial Finance Director DACH (m/f/d) ideal at our locations in Erlangen, Neuss or Stuttgart (or in Homeoffice)
Job Description
The Commercial Finance Director will be the main Finance Business Partner for Market unit Management team and Sales Management and Account executives. Working within a very dynamic and fast-growing company, you will be responsible managing the P&L and being instrumental in transforming the company to a recurring revenue business and achieve ambitious growth targets. Supporting Management and Sales to execute on IFS Go To Market strategy, mainly focusing to close deals maximizing Bookings value and ensure correct revenue recognition. With excellent communication skills, you will partner with Market unit management giving business insights and advises, and with Sales executives structuring and negotiating sales transactions.
The role will report to the Regional CFO and will be a key member of Regional Finance management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in Market unit leadership team providing finance and commercial input and support
- Support Sales team in Deal structuring ensuring to maximize Annual Contract Value (ACV) and ensuring correct revenue recognition.
- Advise on financial implications of management and commercial decisions.
- Support Sales team closing deals, including potential meetings with customers.
- Help Business Operations and FP&A teams forecasting Bookings.
- Ensure commercial and financial compliance in line with policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including executives, finance team, sales operations, auditors and customers.
- Support in ad hoc financial projects as and when required.
- Must be able to work with all areas of the business and comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of finance experience, preferably in the software industry
- BA/BS in finance, accounting, or related field
- Strong Revenue Recognition knowledge (IFRS 15)
- Able to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience supporting sales
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly proficient in excel and financial modeling
