We are looking for an energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate and nurture sales leads for the DACH region. Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams, you will develop new business leads by a mix of warm and cold calling.

As a Business Development Representative, you will have an amazing opportunity to be part of the ‘growth team’ for generating business for the entire sales team.

We are looking for a BDR at our locations in Erlangen, Stuttgart or remote in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building a highly qualified pipeline within our focused industries through inbound and outbound prospecting, sales support and lead development within IFS’s solutions for IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM).
  • Prospecting, screening and qualifying potential new prospects through cold calling, campaigns, emailing & approaching potential key contacts on LinkedIn/ Xing.
  • Create opportunities within prospects by illustrating areas for improvement, optimization or automation. Work with the pre-sales and BVE teams to underpin these opportunities with business cases.  
  • Work alongside Sales Executives to set meetings and penetrate targeted accounts. 
  • Implementation of Account Based Marketing campaigns, based on account plans built in conjunction with sales, pre-sales and marketing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned group of Target Accounts and develop value into working with IFS. 
  • Communicate internally the status of all outreach and set meetings. 
  • Effective use of our CRM and other tools to manage leads and data.

Qualifications

You will have: 

  • A minimum of 18 months experience in a similar lead generation or business development role – ideal in a B2B tech company
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • A resilient and driven nature.
  • Hungry to go above and beyond to over perform.
  • You are highly communicative and love to talk to prospects on the phone, via E-Mail or Social Media (Outbound and Inbound)
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally (fluent in German & English, French is a plus).
