Job Description

This job sits within Cloud Operations in IFS Ultimo.

We are looking for candidates with strong analytical skills who are self-motivated and thrive working within an international organization. 

Successful candidates will be located in Sri Lanka. Types of work will include but not be limited to:

As a Cloud Update Engineer you are responsible for the implementation of new feature toggles and manual updates by analyzing existing customers’ configuration and adapting the processes and data into the new, desired functionality, and the associated project management. Assisting customers in testing and adaptation to the new standard. 

 You will also be responsible for the implementation of new Single Sign On for customers (existing or new business), adapting towards Microsoft Entra ID. Assisting customers with SSO questions, certificates or non-Entra ID implementations. 

Apart from the above technical responsibilities you will Coordinate with the customer on update planning, explain new features and options, share knowledge and documentation, and gather feedback. Critical thinking to identify potential issues and propose proactive solutions to internal teams and customer.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business IT & Management
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Cloud support Engineer or relevant experience in ERP or EAM Software
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
  • Extensive Experience with SQL and XML
  • Experience with configuration management
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, SSO/MFA
  • Experience with Configuring Software
  • Experience with Internal/External Stakeholder Management and experience conducting customer presentations.
  • Thorough Experience with Incident Management Software
