Job Description
The iK Tribe is in search of a professionally skilled individual to join us in an eCommerce Account Management role. In this position you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships, negotiating and, being that ‘go-to’ person for our merchants. If your interest lies in digital commerce and you’re a seasoned account manager, then this could be the role for you.
So, what will you do?
You will focus on accelerating the growth of iKhokha’s CNP product market share through:
- Identifying and acquire new partners (example Web Developers and Hosting companies) who will market and distribute our product.
- Identify and implement enterprise size eCommerce platforms which will use iKhokha’s CNP product set.
- Maintain and foster relationships and partnerships with CNP partners and enterprise eCommerce clients.
Deal Breakers
- Relationship Management / Partnership Management / Key Account Manager, with a strong focus on growth
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role within the payments industry
- Payment systems, Ecommerce understanding and experience, Pipeline management and follow up procedures, ability to engage in conversations around technical subject matter relating to payment gateways, ability to work across different functions (Product team, Operations team, Marketing team, Partnership team, Finance team, etc), Well networked and presence in the CNP payment space of SA, negotiations, solution sales, account management and public presentations
- Commercially driven and goal-oriented
- Ability to execute a growth plan
What would you be responsible for?
New Business:
- Aggressively seek Marketeer partners and enterprise level merchants which will lead to revenue growth for CNP products
- To be the first point of contact for iKhokha’s new enterprise level clients and partners, with a focus on generating TPV while maintaining margin
- Be responsible for the entire sales cycle with merchants
- Play a role in developing and enhancing our current CNP processes, and tools to capture market share
Account Management:
- Maintain relationships and partnerships once sales cycle is complete
- Act as a link between internal teams and external stakeholders and be directly involved in account relationships with existing and new key Clients and Marketeer Partners
- Negotiate KPI’s, commercials and contractual terms with Marketeer Partners
Industry Events & Networking:
- Represent iKhokha at Industry events
- Public presentations at industry forums
Qualifications
- Undergrad Business Related Degree desirable
