Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Inspection and assessment of customer owned equipment to identify parts / components that need to be replaced to be able to return the equipment to service.  A key element of this role will be the repair of the (Pre-Conditioned Air) PCA cooling modules and solid state power modules.

Diverse and flexible skillset to be easily deployed where needed.

  • Foster a safe environment where productivity and efficiency are the focus
  • Utilize ITW principles and philosophies: simplify, focus, trust, empower
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized cellular work area
  • Follow all safety and QMS procedures and processes.
  • Be a Champion of 5S, follow 5S principles and practices.
  • Have full understanding of the RMA process and be able to clearly identify the owner of each asset / piece of equipment.
  • Provide a detailed report on parts used and also record details of parts replaced for warranty reports and failure trend analysis.
  • Test repaired units, save test reports and work with the shipping team to return unit to customer.

Qualifications

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS

Professional Experience – HVAC- home or commercial knowledge and experience is essential (must hold a current EPA License), must be able to braze at a strong and competent level,

Strong Electronic fault-finding background is also required.  Some light sheet metal assembly preferred.

Ability to operate cranes and jacks for heavy lifting.

Fork lift license required.

Functional Experience – Read and understand blueprints (both electrical & mechanical) and schematics. Communicate effectively at all levels of the company. Be able to operate hand tools, air tools, torque wrenches.

Language – English

Education – High school diploma

Physical- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be able to stand for 8 hours
