Job Description

  • Participate in Product Management activities in collaboration with other team members
  • Constantly seek to facilitate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Product Management and Engineering processes
  • Perform in both the roles of Product Owner and Agile Product Manager, which includes:
  • Constructing and updating Product and Team Roadmaps
  • Creating specifications for new features and epics in collaboration with UI/UX Designers and Engineers
  • Play a key role in planning and retrospective meetings (Agile or Kanban)
  • Perform customer research and user testing to understand customer needs and build customer “empathy” early in the product life-cycle
  • Assist in developing the core positioning and messaging for the product, working with Product Marketing to produce the final collateral
  • Contribute to key marketing processes such as hosting webinars and writing blogs
  • Train and inform the Impact Radius staff on new features and functionality
  • Be a champion of the product(s), both inside and outside the company
  • Attain a high level of expertise on Impact Radius products and the competitive market landscape
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnership opportunities
  • Set, track, and complete quarterly goals that are aligned with company and departmental objectives
  • Measure, track, and improve overall customer satisfaction as measured by the Net Promoter Score


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success participating in the definition, management, and launch of excellent software products
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or Marketing with strong technical knowledge of software development and understanding of business processes and the competitive landscape
  • Minimum of 1–3 years work experience in business and/or technical roles
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Ability to work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers and understand technical details
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Passionate about technology and privy to cutting-edge trends in the industry
  • Desired, but not required:
  • Strong understanding of technology systems and software development including system architecture, writing code, version control, and user experience design
  • Experience working on software interfaces and designing smooth user experiences
