Senior Marketing Manager - Maritime Events

We're seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts for international exhibitions and conferences in the Maritime and Logistics sectors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our global marketing strategies.

 

As our new Senior Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Lead a talented team of 5 marketing professionals
  • Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns
  • Analyse campaign performance and drive data-informed decisions
  • Collaborate with specialists in paid media, web, and SEO
  • Optimise marketing spend across various channels

Your key responsibilities will range from the below areas:

  • Manage and inspire your marketing team

Analysis & Insights

  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements
  • Share valuable insights to drive revenue and explore new opportunities
  • Cultivate a culture of data-driven decision making

Campaign Management

  • Develop strategic marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines and budgets
  • Optimize resource allocation across marketing channels

Marketing Execution

  • Craft targeted messaging for key audience segments
  • Oversee multi-channel communication strategies
  • Manage relationships with strategic partners

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

You may not “tick all the boxes” but could still be a great Senior Event Marketing Manager for Informa Markets, so we’d still love to hear from you.  If you're passionate about marketing and ready to make a meaningful impact in the Maritime and Logistics sector, we encourage you to apply!

  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing (UK and international)
  • Track record in team leadership
  • Understanding of digital and direct marketing techniques
  • Experience in database development and audience segmentation
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience of using marketing automation technology (preferably Eloqua)
  • Experience of working with CMS platforms (but coding knowledge not required)
  • Experience of managing social media through scheduling platforms such as Sprout Social or Hootesuite etc. and experience of social media listening and sentiment analysis
  • Experience of marketing analytics and reporting platforms (Google Analytics/Adobe or others)
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
