IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduce 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.

In South Asia we’re on an exciting journey of expanding our business by adding new suppliers & categories and strengthening our existing suppliers. We have three offices- two in India (Gurugram and Bangalore) and one in Dhaka(Bangladesh). If you like challenges and really making a difference, maybe this journey is for you!

We are looking for a trainee / fresher to support the 3 offices in PLA South (Gurgaon, Bangalore, Dhaka) for six months with IT.This person will work very closely with the INGKA IT support and the Admin Team and report to Admin Manager India.

The key areas of work will include:

-Support planned activities, such as IT installations, upgrades, local rebuilds and maintenance activities.

-Take necessary decisions and actions to solve issues, as well as prioritise issues according to business needs in close co-operation with the Single Point Of Contact (Helpdesk) in an efficient and professional manner and the permanent IT support from INGKA / Inter IKEA central.

-Maintain and ensure continuous uptime of the onsite IT infrastructure, including network.

-Manage relationships with IKEA IT, vendors, contractors, service providers and other stakeholders, such as local co-workers.

-Respond to IT emergency situations.
