Job Description
The Opportunity
The Manager of Talent Development Operations will support the day to day and long term operations of the KIPP Texas Talent team, increasing the team’s efficiency and effectiveness in the core charge of attracting, identifying, selecting, training and developing the talent at KIPP Texas Public Schools.
This position’s primary work location will be at either the Austin, DFW, Houston or San Antonio regional offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of talent team culture and engagement initiatives, including and not limited to: employee recognition, communication, and engagement evaluation and intervention
- Lead support of development facilitation and training needs, both virtual and in person, including and not limited to: logistics support, materials management, facilitation support, communication and scheduling support.
- Manage internal talent team operations projects/events, including but not limited to: team operations manuals and subsequent trainings, lead team support, team calendar, internal team communication processes
- Management of team financial needs, including credit card management and reporting; accounts payable, procurement and purchasing needs, and oversight of key programmatic budgets
- Ensures timely and accurate submission of all required financial and compliance documents, artifacts, and reports for local, federal, or organizational procedures and deadlines
- Support of team budgeting process, including quarterly budget check-ins
- Project management of key strategic work as needed for development business needs
- Collaboration with talent operations team
Qualifications
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree or work experience
- 2+ years of operations experience (KIPP experience preferred)
- Some work-related travel may be required.
