Position Overview: 

Working as a Lead Elementary Math/Ela Teacher at KIPP Wonder Academy, you are motivated in meeting needs and nurturing the strengths of young minds.  In addition to engaging in a positive learning classroom environment, you have the experience of leading your classrooms to engage students in sparking their curiosity. You know that the first steps of a student's learning set the tone for the rest of their lives and you’re there to support them every day. What you bring to the table: 

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Valid Missouri Teacher Substitute Certification or Appropriate Missouri Teacher Certification (Elementary 1-6, Birth - 3rd, etc.) or a willingness to become certified ASAP 

• Pass Criminal Background Check

• Demonstrated commitment to closing the opportunity gap
