Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector, South Vietnam, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the quality process control and performing inspections in assigned factories. The position also requires reporting and resolving any abnormal quality issues for prompt corrective action. Applicants should have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate has an excellent command of both English and Chinese. Applicants must be able to travel between factories located in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong.
A day on the job looks like this:
- Inspect the initial, midterm and final period of the products process
- Fully inspect products in a packing line or randomly inspect products from warehouses according to issued standard
- Carry out appropriate testing experiments for products
- Issue inspections reports on time
- Report quality status to QC team leader. Report to higher line management when required
- Move/shuttle among factories in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong
- Assist in following up on order progress and feedback on the progress of orders
Qualifications
Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Associate’s, secondary school or technical degree
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- English writing and speaking preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in furniture or as a QC inspector; 4 years of experience preferred
- 2 years of experience managing people/projects
- Familiarity with the production process and inspection requirements of indoor furniture/outdoor furniture/toys
- Familiarity with the production process and inspection requirements of indoor/outdoor furniture and upholstered furniture for high-end markets
- Familiarity with field-testing furniture products
- Ability to issue inspection reports in English
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in MS Office, with an emphasis on an ability to build and present reports
