Job Description
Servicing Default Prevention Specialist I is an entry level position in Servicing Default Prevention. This position will be responsible for handling outbound and inbound calls as necessary to assist borrowers or heirs and explain their options on loan resolution. This includes proactively reviewing loans to determine workout solutions for borrower or heirs in difficult situations.
Primary Job Duties:
- Handle outbound/inbound calls as necessary to assist borrowers or heirs in default education and explain their options on loan resolution in compliance with FHA or investor requirements.
- Communicate with borrowers or heirs to assist where needed by engaging the subservicer to ensure the best customer service.
- Effectively work with subservicer to ensure any escalated borrower situations are resolved.
- Educate borrowers or heirs on all workout options to include Repayment Plans, At-Risk Extensions, Short Sale, or Deed-In-Lieu for foreclosure avoidance.
- Communicates regularly to interrelated departments within the company to successfully serve the customer, both internal and external.
- Analyze and respond timely to subservicer or investor requests for workout solutions as needed.
- Communicates any issues with upper management that may put Longbridge or its investors at reputational risk.
- Skip tracing to locate borrowers, alternative contacts, or heirs.
- Analyze and respond timely to subservicer on data reconciliation and exception reporting.
- All work efforts are to be documented in the Bridge Online Servicing Solutions (BOSS) system.
Qualifications
- Any mortgage experience is preferred but not required
- Precise attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Skilled in the use of computers and related software applications, specifically Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Word
- High level of integrity and trust
- Must be able to work in the office Monday - Friday start time 7:30am -
