Job Description
Responsible for analysing data, operations and purchase planning for commodity purchases. Identify market trends and correlations to recommend actions for risk management and inventory management of raw materials to meet the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
- To perform data maintenance and analysis on historical data and global S&D.
- To work closely with the Purchasing Team on operations for commodity purchases.
- To compile weather, news, and market data daily to keep management and other departments updated with the latest market conditions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to conduct effective purchase planning for commodities and meet production requirements.
- Prepare and create clear, insightful data reports with actionable business recommendations.
- To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or any related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel; experience with VBA is a plus.
