Job Description
Mariner Innovations is seeking a Software Developer with data engineering knowledge and Python development experience to join our high growth Telecom practice. The successful candidate will be a key member of our IT Professional Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for client-based projects and, in collaboration with our delivery and sales teams, you will deliver best of breed solutions to new and existing customers.
Qualifications
Critical qualifications/competencies:
- University degree in software engineering/computer science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience in Python development
- Experience with ETL (Apache Airflow)
- Experience working with Big Data
- Well versed in SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL, Trino)
- Develop, test, deploy and support new solutions using the Agile/Scrum approach.
- A team player and change enabler with a positive forward-thinking mindset.
Preferred qualifications/competencies:
- Experience with RDBMS administration and optimization
- Experience with Java Script
- Experience building REST API’s
- Experience with Python web frameworks such as Flask and Django
- Machine Learning and AI knowledge
- Experience working within the Telecommunications Industry
