Mariner Innovations is seeking a Software Developer with data engineering knowledge and Python development experience to join our high growth Telecom practice. The successful candidate will be a key member of our IT Professional Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for client-based projects and, in collaboration with our delivery and sales teams, you will deliver best of breed solutions to new and existing customers.

Critical qualifications/competencies:

• University degree in software engineering/computer science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience in Python development 
• Experience with ETL (Apache Airflow)
• Experience working with Big Data
• Well versed in SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL, Trino)
• Develop, test, deploy and support new solutions using the Agile/Scrum approach.
• A team player and change enabler with a positive forward-thinking mindset.

Preferred qualifications/competencies:

• Experience with RDBMS administration and optimization
• Experience with Java Script 
• Experience building REST API’s
• Experience with Python web frameworks such as Flask and Django
• Machine Learning and AI knowledge
• Experience working within the Telecommunications Industry
