Job Description

The Functional Solutions Lead is responsible for the functional design of McDonald’s global financial planning solution for Global Finance. In this role, you will provide guidance and expertise on the Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS) cloud application and solutions to support the develop of requirements and design within this application based on best practices and stakeholder's feedback.

Additionally, this role will support the governance activities around finance metadata in Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM Cloud). This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Global Financial Systems and falls within the Financial Systems Enablement tower within Global Business Services (GBS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Functional Solutions Lead for Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS) and Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) cloud applications
  • Serve as the financial planning technical expert, providing input on solution data flows, interfaces, reporting testing and any related communications or training support required
  • Lead the deployment of the financial planning solutions, including conversion, extraction, transformation, and load of data
  • Partner with key Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and convert requirements into technical design documents
  • Consider technical solutions to challenges and determine the best solution among available options to deliver the best outcome for the business
  • Liaise between business and technology; review and provide inputs on functional and technical design, & sign-off on key deliverable documents
  • Supports resource staffing plans for initiatives based on solution guidelines to ensure performance, resiliency, scalability, compliance, & security requirements are met

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance or related field
  • Strong ability to communicate highly technical information to a functional/business audience
  • 5+ years of experience designing and deploying Oracle Planning solutions, as well as specific experience with Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS) solutions
  • Experience deploying Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions
  • Experience developing technical and business requirements for Planning solutions
  • Experience with solution architecture and/or solution configuration
  • Experience in complex program delivery
