Job Description
The Lease Team in Global Business Services (GBS) currently has an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain a detailed perspective on McDonald’s real estate & franchisee accounting processes, as well as a broad perspective on McDonald’s global business by providing exposure to the consolidated internal and external financial accounting and reporting processes for lease accounting. The manager role will support the Global Lease Accounting COE (Center of Excellence) within GBS Operations, including driving the required collaboration, decision-making, and escalations to facilitate the necessary outcomes across the Global Finance Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analysis of the impact of the lease accounting standard on McDonald’s consolidated internal and external financial statements.
- Provide consultancy and act as a business SME on the leasing system, TRIRIGA, including identifying enhancements and answering questions on the monthly and quarterly close process.
- Oversight for McDonald’s policies regarding the technical accounting behind the leasing standard.
- Provide technical accounting training and guidance on the lease standard to market finance teams and Global Business Services, including accounting interpretation, application of the standard and execution in TRIRIGA.
- Collaboration with various stakeholders across global markets, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Legal, internal and external auditors, etc.

The expected salary range for this role is $112,860-$143,900 per year

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA a plus
- Minimum 6 years of experience working within an accounting or finance function
- People management experience and strong desire to develop employees
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with different disciplines, levels and cultures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with critical thinking and attention to detail
- Process Improvement and continuous learning mind-set
- Advanced in MS Excel including PivotTables and VLOOKUP and proficient in PowerPoint
- IBM TRIRIGA experience is a plus
