Job Description

This is an important role serving one of Metia’s most dynamic and fastest-growing clients. The Web Content Manager will help our client to deliver web-based, content-driven campaigns and programs that will be seen by top decision makers around the world. The role demands a professional who is at ease managing client expectations, prioritizes high-touch service, and has a passion for marketing, technology, and innovation. 

Successful candidates will have experience working in the public sector, a positive attitude, a strong viewpoint, and copywriting, style guidelines, and branding skills. Candidates should be organized and motivated, and be able to work directly with clients.

What you will do:

  • Work directly with stakeholders to develop high-quality website content and assure proper tone, messaging, and effectiveness.
  • Build, maintain, and implement content plans and editorial calendars.
  • Manage updates to web portals as part of a regular publishing cycle.
  • Maintain understanding of site-wide guidelines and policies, and ensure stakeholder understanding and compliance.
  • Manage and evaluate incoming content requests against business requirements.
  • Manage program timelines/project plans and task lists.
  • Deliver digital marketing programs within budget and deadline.
  • Proactively develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Assist the Account Lead in identifying new revenue opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Project Management, Software, Design, and Editorial, to ensure programs and projects run smoothly and are delivered on time.


Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree (or relevant work experience) required
  • Experience with public sector (education, law enforcement, healthcare, etc.)
  • Experience working with tight deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of HTML
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and manage various projects across multiple work streams
  • Local applicants only.

DESIRED

  • Microsoft and agency experience 
  • Previous experience in a marketing role highly desirable
  • Demonstrated interest in web content strategy
  • Experience working with tight deadlines
