Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Pool Attendant to join our team at a luxurious resort in beautiful Koh Samui, Thailand. As a Pool Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and enjoyment of our guests at our pool facilities.
- Monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and enforce pool rules
- Perform regular pool maintenance tasks, including water testing and chemical balancing
- Clean and sanitize pool decks, furniture, and surrounding areas
- Assist guests with pool-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Set up and maintain pool equipment, such as loungers, umbrellas, and towels
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide basic first aid when necessary
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times
- Assist with special events or activities held in the pool area
Qualifications
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues if needed
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and water safety procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitude
- Basic English language proficiency for communicating with international guests
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in hospitality or pool maintenance preferred
- Ability to work in a tropical climate and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a resort environment
