Job Description

At Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through distinctive service, authentic local immersion, and refined luxury. We are seeking a visionary Director of Sales and Business Development to lead our commercial strategy and elevate the resort’s market presence to new heights.

As a cornerstone of our leadership team, you will guide the daily operations of the Sales Department with passion, precision, and purpose. Your role is to inspire, mentor, and empower the team to achieve remarkable business outcomes while upholding the Anantara spirit of excellence.

You will be collaborating closely with our Revenue Management Team and identify market opportunities through data-driven insights and bold initiatives as well as take ownership of the annual Sales & Business Development strategy, including and not limited to the formulation of the departmental budget,

Your remit will include crafting and executing high-impact sales activations, bespoke events, and targeted sales blitzes that position Anantara Lawana Koh Samui as the destination of choice for discerning travelers and premium clientele. Building and nurturing strong partnerships with key accounts in the luxury segment—while also penetrating new, ultra-high-net-worth markets—will be critical to your success.

As our brand ambassador, you will represent the resort at international trade shows, luxury travel forums, and elite industry gatherings, where you will artfully communicate our story, our vision, and our unwavering commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field
  • At least five years of experience in hotel sales
  • Experience in luxury hotel brands
  • Revenue management experience
  • Ability to influence and persuade with excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong sales and analytical knowledge
  • Background in luxury markets, including consortia such as Virtuoso and Serandipians, and luxury market networks such as AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts
