Job Description
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 18 months including Games Time, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
We are looking for an Associate, Project Management – Production, who will work with the production team to deliver live and same day delay event coverage during the Olympic Games.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Coordinating Producer with assigned tasks surrounding staffing and onboarding all hires for the Olympics.
- Assist in negotiating and finalizing certain deals.
- Maintain various tracking and organizational documents around Olympic planning with continuous updates.
- Assist in planning for Olympic sport coverage throughout the year.
- Proactively offer and communicate new ideas to streamline the workflow.
- Demonstrates flexibility to take on additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Desired Characteristics:
- Have a deep knowledge of, and interest in, the Olympics.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and “go the extra mile” under tight deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and manage a variety of responsibilities on a day-to-day basis.
- Ability to work effectively with a team as well as independently.
- Possess a high level of initiative.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate ability to navigate and learn various systems/databases.
- Excellent organizational skills.
