Job Description

The Sales Planner is primarily responsible for the development of strategic linear and digital sales proposals that meet both the advertiser and network’s needs. Will also be responsible for managing day-to-day partner relationships and account management work.

Linear Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the creation of proposals for incoming RFPs by creating media plans to meet advertiser and category objectives
  • Build media plans and schedule units based on inventory avails
  • Prepare and revise Upfront and Scatter sales plans that maximize the use of inventory while fulfilling agency/client requirements
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with the team in the creation of proactive and strategic proposals
  • Complete additional projects as directed by Strategic Planning and Ad Sales Finance Management 
  • Develop strong understanding of our products and solutions for advertisers
  • Establish relationships with agency and advertiser partners
  • Respond to Sales requests about inventory, ad products, creative specifications, and research
  • Liaison with partners to ensure that all contractual obligations are met
  • Coordinate with CFS group to establish credit clearance process and non-media billing procedures when applicable

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1+ years related experience in online or television media sales or buying

  • Strong knowledge of media math and audience metrics

  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Media Industry experience preferred

Additional Responsibilities

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
