Job Description
Work with the driven and highly motivated One Platform Ad Sales organization of NBCUniversal, one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies. The Technical Account Manager role is a strategic partner to Clients & Sales Account Executives.
This position is responsible for managing and growing NBCU’s partnerships with Advertisers and ultimately enabling our clients to reach their business objectives. This role plays a key part in ensuring campaign success & communicating key campaign learnings to better support our clients.
As a Technical Account Manager, you will:
- Play a critical role within our fast-paced Ad Sales team to support the full sales cycle, spearheading proposals through execution for programmatic campaigns.
- Be responsible for managing & developing client relationships
- Proactively identify strategic approaches for new or incremental opportunities as well as upselling products and services.
- Contribute to revenue, advertiser education, & advertiser satisfaction through establishing and building trusted client relationships
- Deliver best-in-class partnership experience for NBCU advertising clients and their campaigns.
- Maintain a high standard of operational excellence while executing effective, performance-driven campaigns.
- Closely align with other client services team members and cross-functional groups.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Building and managing relationships with existing and potential new clients and agencies through routine communication; actively grow industry relationships in order to gain marketplace intelligence.
- Synergistically work alongside all internal teams (Sales, Client Teams, Streaming & Data Products, Content Partnerships, Planning, Marketing, Research, Ops, etc.).
- Support day-to-day client deliverables across the pre-sale and post-sale lifespan of PG and PMP campaigns. Lead communication for all internal deliverables related to client and sales support.
- Troubleshoot and support any technical or creative issues that arise related to bid requests, win rates, optimization levers, audience targeting, pricing, fees, and more, ultimately ensuring the smooth execution of client campaigns.
- Work collaboratively and effectively with internal cross-functional teams and DSP and SSP partners directly.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of internal cross-functional teams including Pricing, Inventory, Ad Ops and Measurement to ensure successful campaign executions and troubleshoot client issues.
- You not only analyze data to understand trends, but you also clearly communicate the “why” behind results and deliver actionable insights & recommendations to both internal and external partners.
- Develop campaign strategies and audience targeting recommendations that speak directly to client and campaign KPIs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NBCU features and audience trends, and serve as an external product expert, educating clients on new and existing ad solutions and advising on best practices to achieve advertiser KPI.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- 3-5 years of programmatic experience at a media company or agency
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Passion for data, process and customer success
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail with a focus on continual improvement by adopting a test and learn mindset.

Additional Requirements:
This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
