Job Description

NBCUniversal seeks a detail-oriented and proactive International Real Estate Manager to oversee occupier asset management across EMEA and APAC. This role requires exceptional execution skills and a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

As part of NBCUniversal's Global Transaction Management team, you will lead the end-to-end management of leasehold assets, ensuring transactions are delivered efficiently, accurately and in alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate with internal teams and external agents to manage critical lease events and execute strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Execution

  • Transaction Management: Drive the execution of lease acquisitions, renewals, terminations, expansions, and reconfigurations across EMEA and APAC.
  • Program Oversight: Manage all aspects of the transaction lifecycle, including site surveys, financial analyses, and project tracking, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Compliance and Approvals: Ensure all transactions adhere to internal approval processes, providing thorough documentation and reporting.

Relationship Building

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key liaison with internal teams (Workplace, Legal, Security, FM, EHS, Project Management) to align real estate plans with business needs.
  • Agent Management: Oversee external brokers and consultants, fostering collaborative partnerships to ensure timely and effective execution of asset management activities.
  • Landlord Relations: Maintain strong relationships with landlords and external partners to resolve issues efficiently and ensure alignment on lease agreements.

Strategic Asset Management

  • Portfolio Administration: Monitor critical lease events and maintain accurate reporting, working closely with the US-based lease administration team and external consultants.
  • Real Estate Strategy: Support the development and implementation of real estate plans aligned with NBCUniversal's strategic goals, including budgeting and prioritisation.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve day-to-day challenges, including transactional complexities and landlord-related issues.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Data Management: Maintain a project tracking system to monitor progress, generate insights, and ensure timely completion of transactions.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comparative financial evaluations for transactions and present actionable insights to leadership.
  • Presentation Preparation: Create and deliver clear, detailed reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions and occupier asset management, ideally in an international context.
  • Proven success in managing lease negotiations and legal document review.
  • Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant law, service charges, and property accounting principles.
  • Strong financial/analytical background, being proficient in real estate financial modelling/scenario analysis.
  • Strong skills in designing visually compelling and professional PowerPoint presentations.
  • Proficiency in using real estate systems and tools for tracking and reporting.
  • RICS qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
