Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operational aspects of over 300 live sporting events per year
  • Execute remote production needs such as scheduling crew, ordering onsite facilities, transmission and creating and distributing paperwork
  • Support the Live Events production team and onsite technical crew by serving as onsite Tech Manager when needed
  • Maintain inventory of Live Events related equipment
  • Help manage the Live Events budget, including monthly forecasting, payroll and invoice processing
  • Collaborate with other departments and personnel to execute various initiatives and improve production workflows
  • Support the integration of new technologies into the broadcast
  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and team partners
  • Understand and proactively navigate the constantly evolving production landscape

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in live event broadcasts
  • Solid base knowledge of remote, cloud based television production equipment and operations workflows
  • Technical understanding of a live event broadcast

Desired Characteristics:

  • Working knowledge of digital video and social media production a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated, organized, self-starter interested in and able to excel in rapidly evolving environment
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with high energy and a teamwork mentality
  • Hard work ethic, positive attitude, and strong organizational skills
