Job Description
The Executive Assistant will provide support to NBC Sports executive leaders.
Responsibilities
- Administrative duties for this role include: managing travel and expenses; coordinating/managing calendars; planning meetings; and attending and taking notes for meetings
- Handle and coordinate confidential information with detail and due care
- Prepare expense reports and order supplies as needed
- Assist in preparation and drafting of documents and presentations
- Comprehensive research, substantive follow up, and coordinating special projects and events
- Provide assistance on various projects and activities
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years administrative and/or general office experience
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Desired Characteristics:
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to organize and establish administrative procedures independently, draft correspondence and reports, and work under pressure
- Interest in sports television production and operations
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Experience working in media or television production a plus
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills needed
- Must be a team player
- Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives a must
- Solid writing and organization skills
- Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Able to prioritize demands and heavy volume of internal demands
- Comfortable dealing with heavy volume of calls - both internal and external - as well as complicated travel arrangements
- Flexibility to be available on evenings and weekends as needed to coordinate travel plans
- Willingness to travel and work overtime, and occasional weekends
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
