Job Description
Summary
The Analyst Loss Prevention will be responsible for overseeing the audit program, management of exception-based reports, and manage the video retention program. Assist with investigations and projects as assigned. This position reports to the Manager Loss Prevention Operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Operational Audit Program.
- Ensure fields audits are completed on an established cadence by Operations Partners
- Ensure independent audits are conducted as required
- Collaborate with business partners in the development of audit questions to identify operational risks and process improvements.
- Conduct statistical analysis of the audit results for developing action plans and process improvements
- Complete revisions to the audit to enhance the user experience and audit effectiveness on a cyclical basis.
- Identify areas of vulnerability to company assets; suggest solutions to reduce loss and mitigate risk.
- Manage the Loss Prevention awareness training program; providing training classes and/or materials as needed, in collaboration with Learning & Organization Development
- Manage Video Retention program from an intake and repository perspective, maintaining the established protocol per risk and corporate claims for NBCUniversal.
- Ensure records are securely stored and available upon request
- Retention is up to date and held within company policy
- Provide videographic materials to legal, corporate claims (risk management) and law enforcement as necessary, via approved distribution methods
- Collaborate with Investigations team to develop and maintain the exception-based reports to detect potential theft and policy violations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite. Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Data Analytics / Auditing or relevant work experience.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Some travel may be required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of a 24/7 365-day operation.
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walking/traveling to multiple venues daily.

Desired Characteristics
- 4-year degree in a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Loss Prevention experience in multi-unit and/or corporate environment
- Strong investigative & analytical skills.
- Experience with Video Management Software/Surveillance operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, multi-tasking skills & time management.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across all lines of business, and with all levels of management & in a public forum.
- Industry related certifications, i.e., Wicklander Zulawksi or Certified Fraud Examiner a plus.
- Familiarity with World App program or similar audit software a plus.
