Job Description
NBCUniversal Advertising Platforms & Operations is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal’s full advertising technology suite. From product management to program management, from sales enablement to sales operations, from product marketing to strategic communications, our division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal’s $10B+ annual advertising business. And together, we’re building the platform that powers the future of advertising at NBCU.
The Advanced Products and Activation team within Advertising Platforms & Operations is responsible for leading the product development processes for the technology solutions delivered to our advertising partners.
We are currently seeking a Product Manager, Advanced Products and Activation, to help develop our audience infrastructure suite of products. You will ideally be a highly collaborative person who is passionate about digital media and video advertising innovation, and has strong technology, analytical, data, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Planning, Sales, Strategy, Systems, Insights & Research, Product, Data and Engineering teams to deliver best-in-class products
- Develop use cases and revenue justification/business value analysis in conjunction with Strategy team
- Manage existing audience targeting product roadmaps and effectively communicate timelines to all stakeholders by leading communication, prioritizing key features, and establishing timelines with partner engineering teams
- Work with internal teams and vendors on designing end-to-end processes and delivering requirements established by sales team
- Act as voice and advocate for the customer
- Lead commercialization process internally to ensure effective product launches in partnership with Product Marketing and Strategy
- Track and test key performance indicators to evaluate data and improve metrics
- Source internal and external customer product needs to advocate for prioritized implementation with the Engineering team
- Document internal workflows to ensure success of new-to-market product launches & operational readiness
- Document and detail user stories for engineering and data teams; participate in UAT
- Stay apprised of data, industry, and privacy changes affecting audience-based buying landscape
- Ensure audience products & capabilities align with larger internal business priorities & strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working in product development in the digital ad ecosystem
- Proven track record of owning customer-facing product solutions in cross-functional environments.
- Strong data analysis skills; can evaluate large datasets with Excel and/or PowerBI with ease
- Working knowledge of data, identity, targeting and measurement
- Experience collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Strategy, and Engineering teams to develop and bring to market successful and innovative products
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the demonstrated ability to take the seed of an idea through launch while prioritizing effectively to get things done
- Knowledge of technical and operational product and project requirements
- Proven ability to understand and communicate using technical language (e.g., APIs, requirements documents, agile systems, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven history of creative problem-solving with autonomy
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence across a variety of platforms, as needed (e.g., messenger, video conferences, in-person gatherings, phone, email, etc.)
- Demonstrated passion for the video advertising marketplace with commitment to delivering best-in-class advertising products and consumer experiences
- Deep understanding of digital ad serving and mechanics of data targeted advertising

Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Monday and Friday virtual; Tuesday - Thursday on-site with flexibility to adjust as business needs dictate.

Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 (bonus eligible)
