Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Job Description
NBCUniversal International is one of the world’s premier entertainment companies, delivering quality content and compelling brands to over 176 territories across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific. Operations and Technology are at the heart of this network, providing global, standardised and efficient workflows and business systems that enable the rapid delivery of content from source to consumer. We operate the international linear channels, a broad range of non-linear services, and are also developing new digital initiatives that offer direct to consumer services.
Overview
The Product and Delivery team are responsible for successfully implementing new business opportunities or changes to existing services across International Media Operations and our International business units. With responsibility across the Media Operations lifecycle from scheduling & playout to media ordering & fulfilment the team are experts at delivering new services across the end-to-end workflow. Additionally, the team support and deploy IT Business Systems and solutions used by several International business units. The breadth of Product & Deliveries’ responsibility includes:
- Business Development Support & Governance
- Business Analysis & Requirements Capture
- Project Management, Delivery Methodology, Reporting & Accountability
- Product Management, Product Roadmap & Solution Design
- Service Transition, Integration & Change Management
- Workflow Optimisation, Business Process Engineering & Productivity Improvement
Specifically: we require a Project Manager to join the team who can deliver technical integration projects within the Media Operations environment. The role will be based in London and may involve some International travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a member of the Product & Delivery team
- Manage multiple concurrent projects through the end-to-end lifecycle from Inception to Completion, using standard project management methodologies. Ensuring that the projects deliver to the agreed timescales, budget and quality expectations
- Work with product and engineering teams to drive solution design and prioritise configuration & development tickets
- Work with business users to understand their business requirements so that you can ensure the resulting technical solutions deliver on business objectives
- Maintain project documentation including but not limited to; project plan, risk register, communications plans and status reporting
- Provide regular communication to project stakeholders including; business leadership teams, user groups & operational support teams
- Ambassador for International Media Operations when liaising with the business units supported by IMO and vendors that supply services to NBCU

Education and Qualifications
- Professional project management qualification (e.g.Prince2, APMP) - desirable

Specific Previous Experience
- Demonstrated excellence in delivering projects and meeting stakeholder expectations
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion over an extended period
- Extensive background in overseeing complex projects and ensuring timely delivery
- Demonstrated expertise in project management developed through significant hands-on experience
- Strong blend of technical experience and knowledge – both media and broadcasting technologies as well as information technologies, such as Agile software development
- Extensive experience of project and programme management in media organisations, with a proven track record of delivering major projects and business change programmes with >$100k budgets
- Strong understanding and experience with change management practices to aid smooth delivery of projects
- Proactive with an excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication style as well as planning and time management skills
- Desktop skills – MS office, MS Visio, MS Project (or similar applications)
