We are looking for a talented CRM Marketing Specialist to join our Audience Growth Operations team within Nine’s Publishing business. You will play a key role in implementing subscriber vision for engagement, retention, growth, and re-activation lifecycle campaigns. Working closely with the Marketing Automation Lead, you'll execute targeted campaigns using our customer data platform and manage our customer relationship management system. This is an opportunity to directly impact our audience growth and retention, contributing to the success of our publishing initiatives.

Day to day you will:

• Design, build, and optimise automated marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
• Define audience segmentation criteria and build robust data extensions using SQL to ensure the right message reaches the right person.
• Champion continuous improvement by supportingA/B testing to optimise campaign results.
• Create dynamic and personalised email content for our subscribers using AMPscript.
• Monitor the platform and support data cleanup activities.
• Help identify, investigate, and resolve platform and data issues to support the maintenance of seamless marketing operations.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven hands-on  experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or similar marcomms platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
• Proficiency in AMPScript and SSJS.
• Basic to moderate experience with HTML, CSS, and JS.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to synthesise technical information to business stakeholders.
• Understanding of Data Privacy Regulations (e.g., Australian Privacy Principles (APPs)
• Experience working in a subscriptions business is desirable.
• Experience working with a Customer Data Platform (CDP) is a plus, as is experience with git or version control system tools.
• Familiarity with paywall platforms or a willingness to learn.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist, Administrator, Developer) are highly desirable.
