Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President, Investor Relations, this key role provides essential support to the investor relations team to create effective communication and engagement with investors and analysts. This position requires managing various investor relations activities in a dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach are crucial for successfully supporting the overall investor relations strategy while ensuring clear, concise and accurate information is disseminated.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, news releases, financial disclosures, and other investor-related documentation.
- Organize and facilitate investor events and site tours.
- Support the investor relations strategy and framework.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and accurate communication of investor-related information.
- Gather and summarize key market insights and investor feedback for management and the Board of Directors.
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality in all investor communications and documents.
- Provide ad-hoc business support to the corporate development team as required.
- Some travel to conferences and investor events is expected.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Technical Field (engineering or geology), or other related field.
- Professional designation CFA, CPA or other is desirable but not required.
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, geology, engineering, or similar roles.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience in the natural resources or mining industry is highly desirable but not required.
- Experience in capital markets roles such as equity research, investment banking or fund management is desirable.
- A strong enthusiasm and interest in joining a high-performing and dynamic corporate development team
