Job Description

As a CAD Technician on our Survey team, you will work on preparing a variety of projects which can include survey plats, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, legal descriptions and other surveying related products. You will provide project design through MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D. In this role, you will be working primarily on surveys for transportation and infrastructure projects of all types, including the preparation of DOT and local agency projects.

We will consider candidates interested in being located in Fayetteville, AR, Joplin, MO, Springfield, MO, North Kansas City, MO, Overland Park, KS, Manhattan, KS, Tulsa, OK, Oklahoma City, OK, Plano, TX, and Fort Worth, TX. We will consider remote candidates.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Associate Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) program is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in drafting.
  • Proficiency with CAD software, MicroStation and OpenRoads.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus. 
  • Field survey experience in topographic, construction layout, and boundary surveys is beneficial.
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
