Job Description
As the Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Omio, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and driving performance. Acting as a strategic finance business partner, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial plans are aligned with Omio’s broader business objectives, delivering insights that influence key decisions and fuel sustainable growth.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Deliver clear, actionable monthly financial and management reports that inform decision-making for both internal leaders and external stakeholders
- Perform deep-dive variance analyses and trend reviews, turning financial data into strategic insights and identifying areas for efficiency and growth
- Drive the bi-annual OPEX and CAPEX planning cycles, aligning financial forecasts with long-term business priorities
- Monitor and report on capital investments and the development of internally generated intangible assets, ensuring transparency and alignment with value creation goals
- Act as a proactive finance business partner to group function leaders—challenging assumptions, supporting strategic decisions, and driving commercial outcomes
- Collaborate with accounting teams to support accurate and timely month-end closes, while reviewing results to ensure financial integrity and clarity
- Coach and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performing and future-ready finance team
- Provide on-demand financial analysis and reporting to support key business initiatives and executive decision-making
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial controlling, or a similar role—demonstrating a strong track record in financial reporting, analysis, and business partnering
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, strategic insights
- Proven expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting to support sound business decisions
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
- Solid understanding of relevant accounting standards and compliance frameworks (e.g. IFRS, HGB)
- Hands-on experience with financial systems and tools—preferably Workday or similar platforms
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where adaptability and initiative are key
