Have in depth knowledge of:

• PCI and PCI Express, USB, BT.656 specification, architecture and protocols.
• Video compression scheme and Video capture/DVR system design.
• Schematic capture, PCB layout and related CAD tools.
• High Speed SerDes PCB design for such PCIE GEN2, USB GEN3.

            Expertise:

• ·Experience in board design, test, characterization, debug and system performance testing
• ·Demo board design / Reference circuit design
• ·Customer issue fix and troubleshooting
• Complete demo board user menu, App note and evaluation report.
• Customer visit for new product promotion
• Strong firmware and device software experience especially on the UART & USB Graphic
• Experience in iMac OS, Windows and Linux

      Job Responsibilities:

1. Customer application support

• Provide customer application support through direct communication with customer engineer/FAE
• Provide application demo board and user manual for customer evaluation and compliance test to leads design in of Pericom products

1. New product application evaluation and system validation

• Design and build demo board to evaluate new product in system application environment.
• Feedback any system application problems to design engineer for improvement

1. Generate application document

• Proactively look for ways to streamline our support of customers with applications issues.
• Solutions should include leveraging the web, databases, adding additional information to data sheets or other materials, and special application notes.

1. New product support / Training Field

• Work with PM/Sales/FAE support the new products and have training to FAE/Sales, let FAE       understand new product feature and how to do the design; supporting beta customers.

1. Customer visits and promotion PSC product

• Work with field and marketing and visiting key customers. These visits should include companies to obtain a position on reference designs. Clear objectives should be set prior to visit

1. Travel is required up to 20%
2. Excellent Communication skills

      Education:

• BSEE degree and 7 years of related experience; MSEE is preferred
