Job Description

Summary

This position is responsible for the preparation and installation of fuel and lubricants tanks while also providing maintenance, installation and troubleshooting electric and pneumatic pumps.

Essential Functions

  1. Operates company vehicle in accordance with company regulations, state and federal laws, and customer policies.
  2. Ability to effectively interface with customers.
  3. Conducts assigned duties while following all proper safety procedures.
  4. Performs pre and post trip inspections of vehicles and reports all defects to the maintenance department.
  5. Works responsibly with a minimum amount of supervision.
  6. Cleaning, painting and prepping fuel and lubricants tanks
  7. Safe delivery and removal of fuel and lubricants tanks to customer locations
  8. Forklift operation.
  9. Troubleshoot various equipment failures at customer facilities.
  10. Installation of fuel management systems
  11. Assisting LEP Supervisor with work assignments
  12. Training
  13. Conducting monthly inventory counts
  14. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by direct supervisor

 

Pay Rates Starting between: $20.15 - $33.25 / hour

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
  • Forklift Certified.
  • Must have and maintain current Commercial Driver’s License B or A with Haz Mat endorsement.
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification CARD (TWIC)

Specialized Knowledge

  • Intermediate understanding of plumbing
  • Installation of conduit and electric repair
  • Understanding of fuel management systems
  • Operation of a wench and crane
  • Pulling flatbed trailers

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds alone and over 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to climb up and down a ladder.
  • Ability to work around hazardous materials such as gasoline, diesel, paint, solvent, etc.
