Role Summary:
As the Senior Market and Pricing Strategist, you will lead critical initiatives to develop and refine pricing and market strategies that drive growth and profitability. Leveraging your expertise in data-driven insights, you’ll collaborate across teams to refine how we position our software portfolio in a competitive, fast-evolving market. Key Responsibilities:
- Shape Market Strategy: Drive comprehensive market analyses, including TAM/SAM/SOM assessments, trend forecasting, and competitive benchmarking, to inform and influence business strategy.
- Lead Pricing Innovation: Develop and refine advanced pricing strategies for new and existing products, leveraging analytics and creative problem-solving to maximize revenue and market share.
- Strategic Partnerships: Partner with Product, Finance, and Growth teams to prioritize opportunities, identify untapped market potential, and position our offerings for success across industries, regions, and customer segments.
- Dynamic Financial Modeling: Build sophisticated models to evaluate pricing scenarios, predict market penetration, and forecast revenue impacts, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Monitor Market Trends: Analyze competitor pricing models and identify strategies to enhance market positioning
- Influence Product Launches: Play a pivotal role in go-to-market initiatives, crafting data-backed pricing frameworks that align with customer needs and market dynamics.
- Present Data-Driven Recommendations: Deliver clear and actionable insights to executive stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
- Foster Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to execute and optimize pricing strategies that align with organizational goals and drive results.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in pricing strategy, market analysis, or a related role, with a proven track record of success in SaaS, PaaS, or software.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to synthesize data into innovative pricing solutions that drive tangible business outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent experience in senior strategic roles is highly valued.
- Expertise in advanced analytics tools such as PowerBI, Salesforce, and Excel, with the ability to leverage them to solve complex problems.
- Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- A forward-thinking approach to market trends, with a passion for outpacing competitors and seizing opportunities.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $125,000-$140,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
