Director, Sales Development

Job Description

We’re looking for a Director, Sales Development to lead the development and refinement of Procore’s inbound and outbound international prospecting strategy. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Marketing, Sales leadership, Enablement, and Customer Experience to drive opportunities to increase revenue and exceed targets.

This position reports to a VP, Sales Development, and will be based in our Carpinteria, CA, Austin, TX, or Tampa, FL office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Establish a framework for pipeline management (expectations, processes, reporting/KPIs) to exceed sales targets

  • Create and communicate weekly pipeline forecast to Sales Development Representatives (SDR) and leadership

  • Participate in regional quarterly business reviews with cross-functional leaders

  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to implement and lead programs to drive opportunities and revenue

  • Collaborate with Marketing and channel partners to implement strategic initiatives, establish lead flow expectations, uncover prospecting opportunities, and develop campaigns to hit revenue targets

  • Provide your team with mentorship and learning and development opportunities including training, coaching, and role playing to support professional growth

  • Promote an engaged, energetic, and inclusive environment that encourages high productivity while maintaining a positive work experience

  • Oversee front line SDR managers

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience

  • 7+ years in software sales (preferably in an SaaS environment)

  • 3+ years management experience in a business development environment

  • Internal 3+ years management experience in a business development environment

  • Track record in hiring, developing, and promoting Sales Development representatives

  • Proven experience prospecting via cold calling, email, and social selling

  • Experience using and implementing a sales methodology

  • Consistent track record of 100%+ of quota achievement as an individual contributor

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build rapport with leaders across functions.

  • High level of initiative and commitment to developing consistently excellent customer experiences

  • Superior time management and communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $150,640 - $207,130 plus commission for an estimated on-target earnings of $215,200 - $295,900. This role is also eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
