Job Description
PRG Orlando is seeking an experienced, hands-on Technical Services Manager to make in-house repairs and coordinate rental repair operational procedures, technical staff, budget and labor, as it relates to cost of sales.
Essential Functions:
Oversees and performs technical maintenance and repair of PRG inventory to manufacturer operating standards. Outsource repairs as needed.
Responsible for inspection of all items in repair;
Supervises all annual electronic inspections and updates;
Tracks and manages the technical equipment that is in repair and oversees process of repair, including coordinating repair by outside vendors;
Responsible for research of items, how to repair them and manage any warrantees on PRG electronics.
Tracks and Manages the repair budget;
Purchases all technical supplies adhering to standards set forth by Asset Management, and adhering to the purchasing process and approval by General Manager;
Quoting, execution, and billing of service calls
Shares the responsibility of the emergency phone line
Uses computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word
processing, calendar, e-mail and database software and proprietary PRG software in performing work assignments;
Does related work as required.
Qualifications
Experience:
5 years of demonstrated successful experience in entertainment technology maintenance and repair.
Education:
College or Vocational Education preferred.
Other requirement such as knowledge, skill, ability or characteristic:
Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of entertainment technology equipment maintenance and repair; working knowledge of supervision, budgeting management and business organization;
Skills: Skill at manual trades including electrical and electronic repair; skill in the supervision of others;
Abilities: Ability to manage a budget and supervise others;
Characteristics: Leadership qualities; Customer Service orientation; Tact; Professionalism; Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
