At Publicis Groupe, we are looking for a Data Engineer fluent in English to join Publicis Global Delivery, the outstanding platform that we created to become a global interconnected network and provide offshore & nearshore solutions for our partners - sister companies´ business worldwide.

A cross-media transformation agent, based in Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica and Mexico, that provides centralized expertise of all Publicis Global Services' capabilities to enable consistent and standardized delivery across Media, Production, Commerce, Content, Data & Technology. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as a data engineer
• In-depth knowledge of data mining, machine learning, and information retrieval
• Expertise in Hadoop, Spark, and similar frameworks
• Knowledge of AWS services (S3, EC2, Redshift, Glue, Athena, Lambda)
• Expertise in at least one programming language such as Java, C++ or Python and coding good practices
• Familiarity with various ETL techniques and frameworks
• SQL Knowledge

What you’ll do:

• Assemble, process, and analyze raw data at scale to support different project requirements
• Monitor for data QA anomalies and solve business-rules related issues in ingestion processes
• Revise and adjust infrastructure where required
• Maintain the data base production systems for performance dashboards
• Work closely with internal business media teams
• Work with external development and research team for calling APIs, and writing SQL queries
• Explore new ideas from industry best practices, data modifications and governance
• Select and integrate required data processing tools and frameworks to improve performance
