Right now, we’re looking for an Associate Media Planner who’ll help the team bring that transformation to life through multi-media activation across Video, Radio, and Out of Home – with a focus on the ever-evolving streaming landscape. Job Description

Day to day, that looks something like this: 

  • Staying up-to-date on the latest video offerings in the marketplace spanning national & local linear TV, streaming video and addressable TV, meeting with vendors to discuss product roadmaps and agency wishlists, building deep partner relationships, etc
  • Gathering information during the media buying and strategy stage (cue unstoppable curiosity, impeccable research & organization skills)
  • Mastering media research tools to ferret out the best available information and data out there (tools include MRI, Scarborough, Scarborough, and Nielsen)
  • Managing Requests for Proposal and buy details for approved media buys
  • Inputting data into presentation format (PowerPoint enthusiasts thrive here)
  • Organizing and overseeing the trafficking and implementation process of creative as well as monitoring campaign delivery and pacing
  • Working with established operational processes & executing with flawless attention to detail
  • Partnering with Precision teams who will handle digital execution and campaign maintenance, working cross-functionally to spread video knowledge and establish continuous and clear communication with the activation team

Qualifications

We’re looking for an Associate Media Planner who is a delight to work with, which usually includes:

  • A four-year college education and background in marketing, advertising, or communications (preferably with some office experience)
  • An awareness of the video space – you are inspired by the rapid changes happening within it – and have a hunger to learn
  • Exceptional communication skills – you’re skilled at working on a team, and problem solving and being flexible so you can roll with whatever challenges arise, client or internal
  • A strong, proven ability to teach analytic skills to others, developing, encouraging, and inspiring them to grow
  • Computer skills that make the old guys envious, as well as an intuitive understand of the digital tools that are reshaping the media and advertising world every day
  • Effective time-management, impeccable attention to detail and a compulsive ability to stay organized amidst many moving parts
  • Amazing communication skills – you’re straightforward, you’re candid and, above all, you’re thoughtful & kind
  • Proficiency in managing numbers – if you can whip through an Excel document, you’ve got an ace in your pocket
  • A love of media – and the motivation to learn everything you can and get better at everything you do
