Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to oversee our production-heavy environment, with a strong focus on translation and transcreation and production. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing workflows and ensuring quality deliverables while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity in production processes.
    • Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Workflow Management:
    • Oversee the workflow for translation and transcreation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
    • Analyse and optimize existing processes to improve turnaround times and resource allocation.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to services.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Establish and maintain quality control measures for all translation and transcreation work.
    • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • Monitor operational performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
    • Utilize data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience working on Pharma/Life science clients is a strong plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, specifically within translation and transcreation environments.
  • Proven experience in overseeing workflow processes and managing client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software and translation tools
