Duties: Under immediate supervision, responsible for managing comprehensive quality management program to satisfy the quality-related expectations of the customer. Ensures compliance with various international and national standardization organizations such as ISO 9001:2000, CMMI, etc. Collects, organizes and analyzes organizational project data to assess how satisfied customers are. Authors program related documentation as appropriate. Determines and evaluates Root Cause and Corrective/Preventive Action. Develops and initiates Corrective Action Plans. Verifies corrective action and implementation. Performs product quality control, peer reviews and/or audits to assess compliance with stated requirements. Ensures focus on organizational continuous improvement plans and programs. Authors QA products. Provides mentoring and training to program employees where appropriate.  Provides the Master Driver with administrative support in the areas of safety and in user-driver training for military applicants operating buses and for military and civilian applicants operating passenger vehicles, 2 1/2- to 5-ton trucks, and material handling equipment.

Education: Associates in a sciences discipline is required, experience may substitute for some education.
 

Skill level and/or years of experience: One (1)  to three (3) years auditing experience. Experience to include environmental compliance, OSHA compliance, ISO experience, and hazardous waste management and pollution prevention, knowledge of EPA and DoD environmental regulations.

Licenses/Certifications: Certification in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, and Environmental Science preferred. Experience may substitute for certification. Military background and training may also substitute.
